Hia peeps got a question im looking to extend the lead from my sky watcher 127 sync scan handset and im wanting to know if this cable will work, reason for this is ive ordered a ccd webcam which il be running from my dining room off my pc via usb extension and this will come in handy for controlling the telescope while im at my pc. the website where ive seen this cable is 5m Cat5e Extension Cable: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics hope you can help with this thx :-)

I think yo should be ok, it is straight through so no crossing of dataptahs. Did a quick check and there was this post earlier in the year, check it out as it looks like another SGL'r reccomending the cable for exactly your use.

I would agree with damnut, so long as the extension lead is straight through I can't foresee any problem.
