What beginners can find and see: Nov 21-27

Have you ever seen a VERY young Moon? How about a very OLD Moon? (Both are extremely thin crescents.) There happen to be a few conveniently placed planets this month to help observers potentially spot both.

Also, Mars makes for a great guide to locating some galaxies in Leo, and Jupiter of course still rules the night sky for the majority of the night.
