A bit of both?

I'm thinking of changing my setup to the following:

Skywatcher 250 and with my Meade 80mm apo piggy backed.

Ill still be able to image using both scopes and use each other to guide.

However im aware that going to 1200mm focal length on the 250 is going to test my alignment and guiding.
