What beginners can find and see: 11/7 - 11/13

Hi all - here's the latest "Eyes on the Sky" video for this coming week:

Jupiter is the best evening planetary object, but Mars makes a morning appearance with Saturn rising before dawn, while Venus and Mercury make a stop by Antares just after sunset.

Mira is not too far from Jupiter as well, and still at technically naked eye levels (around 4.0 - 4.5), worth a look.

Hope you enjoy!

Today is a great day to look for some neat astronomical events:

Venus, Mercury and Antares are within 4 degrees of each other (just after sunset), and the Moon passes by Jupiter (look after dark). And if you are up early, now is a good time to spot Mars cruising by Regulus - I detail all of this in under 4 minutes in the video link above.
