SW 80 ED Pro and dew heater strips

Hi Everyone,

Been reading post regarding the above, could someone confirm

please the correct placement on my particular scope and do I

also need a shroud. This may seem basic but its nice to have

it confirmed by a peer.

Hi.

I have just this week picked up dew strips for my scopes.

You want to place the trip around the objective lens holder which is the base of the dew shield which you should also have fitted to help prevent dew from forming in the first place.

So looking at the side profile of my scope as you say at the base of the already factory fitted dew shield where the lens profile would

be wrap the dew strip around that point, Does that sound about right.
