Which books to read

Hi all iv been advised to read the book by Steve Richards "every photon counts" to get me in the know how to get into astrophotography,

what other books would be a good start for me that explains all the technical speak like the focal length and the different numbers associated with mounts and tripods etc, also they need to be an easy read for a beginner as my knowledge isn't great, also I'd like a book that explains the different lenses and which to use were etc I'm a born again newby to astronomy and want to start from the beginning,

the only access to the internet I have for a while is my iPhone and trying todo some serious research with it isn't easy, the wifi still isn't up and running in the blocks on camp yet

any help would be much appreciated

You'll find Steves book pretty comprehensive on imaging. For further detail on "the numbers" try this primer thread - I go back to it whenever I need a bit of revision lol.

I had a quick read through your link earlier it all made sense I'm slowly getting there lol

I'm going to have a proper read of it again when I get more then 5 mins
