Safe outside temperature

Afternoon everyone,

In a bid to prevent an accident, endless collimation and an injury, i have decide to plot my 200p SW outside with a decent cover.

My question is, is there any limit on the minimum temperature which is good for a scope, other than the fact it might freeze.

Grateful in advance for any advice

check the booklet that came with the OTA, it should say in there.

i know it does in mine and my lowest temp, well lets say that in the UK, its not an issue

concentrate more on security
