I've had a couple of queries about the weight of the 14" flextube (non-goto), so rather than reply individually to PMs, thought that it would be useful to put the figures here for reference.

Using the 'bathroom scales' method (weigh myself, weigh myself carrying OTA, subtract) I get

Rotating base: 41.4 lbs

Upper base: 31.6 lbs

Base fully assembled: 73lbs

OTA: 54.2lbs (no finder)

Fully setup: 127.2lbs (no finder or eyepiece)
