Best way to go ?

If you had approx £2000 to spend which route would you take with this choice ?

A NEQ6 pro at £927 with a Celestron 9.25 XLT OTA at £1175 totalling £2102 or a

Celestron CPC GPS XLT at £1885.

With a difference of £217 do you think the NEQ with the separate OTA will offer more long term flexibility for a relatively small extra outlay?

Imaging or visual?

CPC is a great piece of equipment, I would prefer that for visual use.

Siorry , yes mainly visual . Are not the two scopes essentially the same piece of kit ?

The OTA's are exactly the same just the CPC is easier to setup and take down and I find generally the fork mounts are really easy to use for visual stuff, of course the EQ mount is more versatile if you see yourself buying many tubes to put on it..
