Help! Meade LX90

I have decided to go for the 8" Meade LX90 but the one I have found doesn't come with GPS. How much harder will this make it for star alignment if any?

In my opinion gps is a waste of time. If you know your lat and long to about a degree accuracy and the time to within a minute then the alignment will be very close and a three star will make it precise.

If you switch locations a lot or don't have a watch the gps is useful but even then the alignment will sort it all out.

Hi There,

I have an lx 200, even using one star so long as your time and pos are accurate then goto accuracy depends on how level the mount is.
