Have win vista 64 bit, and would like info on using as a camera, microsoft

vx-5000, which I also have, with etx125 at scope ,have not had much luck.

I don't know anything about that webcam, but the most popular one currently in use is this one:

Buy Philips SPC880 webcam at Morgan Computers

It can be flashed to resemble an SPC900NC which is no longer in production. The 880's are becoming scarce now too but can be found here or on Astro buy/sell or e-bay from time to time. With a webcam adaptor they can easilly be fitted to a telescope for solar system photography, or modified for long exposure on dso's
