Seeing some of the M42 images on here, I remembered I took this in December with my ATIK Camera and Skywatcher ED80.

Unfortunately, my camera developed an intermittent fault, which has only just been tracked down and hopefully rectified by Andy Ellis. This means I have missed most of the available opportunities this winter even though they have been few and far between.

Burnt out the core of the Nebula. Intended to correct this if possible in a later image, but sadly never got the chance.
