Counterweight

Can anyone tell me the best way to counterweight my dob?

Are there magnets available? or some other system that dob users use?

I don't have a dob but I have seen a system where by a bar is attached to the scope's main tube and attached onto it is a sliding weight whose position can be changed to ensure equilibrium of the whole scope. Apologies I don't have a manufacturers name.
