Well it just had to happen, warmer weather, a spot of garden re-arranging and a pier just happen to get put in!! Mmmm wonder if the wife will notice ;-)

Those diffraction spikes really make Vega stand out, beautiful site!

Just had a look at your version Dave... STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! You could almost get lost in those gas clouds.... Was this taken with a proper astronomical camera?

After lots of book reading & head scratching for months on how to setup & use a telescope I put a camera on the back & managed to get this image. Looking for help & advice on whats good/bad and how to improve things.
