Ok so I'm completely new to this sort of thing and a friend suggested that someone here may be able to help identify what I have mistakingly photographed while on my camping trip. What was just me mucking about trying to take a photo of the stars... (hence the lovely star trails) :

I have no clue as to what I have photographed and hope someone can help. The photo was taken on 05/08/2010 @22:38 from Whitby in the UK (54°28'40.00" N / 0°38'23.00 W) with a Nikon D80, exposure of about 3 mins.

I'm not convinced it could be something on the lense because I'd of thought that would turn out blurry. I did think the same thought about the star trails. Any possibility it could be something in the atmosphere?
