After several years of umming and ahhing I've finally bought a "proper" telescope to scratch the itch that looking at the moon through binoculars, and wondering about the rest of the universe, causes. From lurking on this site I've already learnt that "Turn Left at Orion" is the best primer for this hobby there is, and that the potential for spending every spare penny on this pursuit is eminently possible!
Bought a SkyWatcher 114P on a Virtuoso mount, and now wondering how it can be controlled by PC instead of Skyscan or similar without a degree in Computer Science!
Looking forward to learning a great deal from the combined brains on here.
Now if it would only stop raining....
