I have now dissembled the RA axis elements of the Celestron CG-3 mount. Picture attached to hopefully help others. I did manage to drop the red fibre and one of the two clear acetate washers that sit between the orange cog and the RA setting circle. I am assuming that teh fibre washer sits between the acetate washers, hopefully somebody can confirm this!
I notice that the RA clutch screw is eating into the shaft of the orange cog, not sure if this is normal for a scope thats only a few months old.
next job is disassembly, cleaning and re-lubrication of the RA worm gear which is not easy to rotate.
