Is there anyone on here that might get to see a partial occultation along the graze line? Now, *that* would be quite a sight I'd imagine!

I wouldn't put too much stock in anything on Wikipedia, especially anonymous edits. If it was one of those "star name gifts" it has zero validity anyways. I highly doubt any astronomer, amateur or otherwise, has ever called it the Edward Young Star

One of the jewels in the sky right now. Nice shot.

A stationary meteor perhaps?

Always good to read these reports, especially when I look out my window at a foot of snow and -20 Celsius.

Remarkable sketch!

Nice. You've given me some ideas for the slightly hazier nights when faint fuzzies are more difficult.

If I had to pick one it would be spring galaxy season but Late summer to early fall is not far behind. Winter is awesome but -25 degrees tends to ruin any observing session while early summer is our wet season.

I sketched this cluster and my notes recorded it as prominent and easy to find. Quite different from NGC 7006, also in Delphinus.

Nice! I always am amazed by the visual appearance of M13 and photographic when the "flat" side and the streams and such are lost.

Great report. Gives me a few ideas for my next night out too, once actual darkness returns later in the month.

For some reason the name Pelican Nebula makes sense to me for the first time seeing this image.

Great report. That subject title alone had me (51 degrees north!) salivating!

Nice report. Whets my appetite for some galaxy hunting in Virgo/Coma this spring but I haven't had a good opportunity yet.

Saw both events with binoculars. The disappearance was slightly clouded over but visible, the reappearance was much better.
