New to this forum. I have already learned a lot. I recently purchased a Gskyer 80400 80mm telescope through Amazon. It seemed pretty hefty while I was putting it together. My first outing with it was a few days ago. The moon was a day or so away from full moon. So viewing was pretty easy. Then we swung over to Mars and the next popular planets Jupiter and Saturn. I found it kind of difficult to get the telescope in position. It is on on AZ Altazimuth Mount. It has no real fine adjustment capability. I found I had to use a little force to get it to move and then finding the planets 5 mins later was a task. I did get a decent view of Jupiter with the 22mm eyepiece. I was able to see the 4 big moons. Saturn was pretty fuzzy. Also no "fine" focus. After reading posts here, I will play with the lenses and maybe try without the supplied zenith mirror.
