Hey I’m 15 years old and I’ve just got a 2nd hand EQ6R it’s just over a year old and my guiding is just getting going. My RA is acting incredibly awful with a graph which is incredibly terrible. I’m also unsure of the best guiding settings to use? My RA is at around 135” and my DEC is around 1.8” I’m unsure why it’s acting so awfully. Thanks guys

Just managed to get myself a EQ6-R Pro for just £900 with an iPolar, guy selling all his gear, nice chap and yeah. Great pull

It makes me feel so small when I see an image on the back of my camera of 2 galaxies then I look up to where I’m pointed and just emptiness with stars. It’s amazing. This shot is so good

I’ve had 4 clear nights this week, I got a 200PDS for Christmas and no mount haha, saving up for a mount now.

I’m sure skywatcher do the power packs. Not sure if it’ll work for everything you have there though.

I’m not 100% sure on the screws so I’ll leave that bit out. The mirror shouldn’t effect anything and I wouldn’t clean it myself, you can ruin the coating on the mirror, I’m sure it would be best to get the 2” eyepiece because you’re loosing a lot of light I would’ve thought with the smaller eyepiece adapter. 

I need to learn processing so I figured I could ask on here, does anyone have any tutorials on processing dso images on GIMP?  

Has anyone ever modded a 1200D, have you got before and after results? 

Does anybody use a HEQ5 Pro with a 200PDS? If so how is it?
