LX90 Motor unit Fault

The motor fault I had indicated on my hand controller was sorted by cleaning both ends of the hand controllers coiled cable. I always unplug it after use since I had a hand controller destroyed by a lightening storm directly overhead my observatory -

I have used Steve Collingwood before and I can highly recommended him, I live in France and I took my LX90 across to him for repairs and he did an excellent job. I may have to do the same again as yesterday I got the "Motor Fault" error message on my hand controller
