Hello all !
Its been a long break by not by choice several operations later here I am back again.
I not forgotten all I learned with you lot unfortunately I had to sell all my deep sky imaging gear (still miss it and nightly headaches it gave)
this time around I’m going in lightweight as can’t do the heavy gear anymore.
anyway good to be back hope I can help others and also got a few questions myself, so bye for now.

Hi Wirral man,
Thanks for the photo of your imaging equipment. I'm always impressed by the inventiveness associated with astronomy, I particularly like your extra weight below your tripod-hey even the colour matches the rest of the gear. Good luck with your future imaging and processing and don't let the light pollution spoil your enjoyment.
Best wishes,
Stevethanks ste i wont be giving up!!

Telescope for ioptron cem26 dso targets
in Discussions - Scopes / Whole setups
Posted
Hi all been a while since I posted on here
I have a cracking lightweight weight setup at the moment
Ioptron cem26
Williams zenithstar 61 with reducer/flattener
Asi pro
Asi 294mc
Efw mini
Dual narrow band filters etc
Zwo Auto focus control
Asi120mm guide cam
I use this for wide field and is so reliable.
So I want a 2nd scope for small dso objects so looks like a need a sct telescope but unsure what will do the job the payload of the mount states 26lb but I feel it can handle more as it seams so soild plus it's so quiet and belt driven far better than my old hq5 pro,
I have been looking at the CELESTRON C6 SCT XLT but is this any good?
I know I will have to use a different guide scope for this setup so any information would be great on this
Thanks John
