  1. Hi,

I am seeing this issue on multiple installs across laptops (Win 10 64 / Win 11 64).  To double check I have done a clean install of 1.8.9, but no joy.

    > If I close PixInsight and reopen, running scripts from other repositories first, then no issues.

It seems that GSH may not be playing nicely with other custom scripts.  To confirm this, you add the repositories I have listed, run e.g. the eZstretch script without errors, then run GHS  (close / don't save) then retry eZstretch

  2. Ok, I'll kick things off with what I'm sure will be the first of many M27 images - this one is for only 40 minutes between clouds, with haze :)

  3. I had the same question in terms of expected focal length, as I don't think it's possible to rely fully on published optical paths or callipers, and I did put it to Celestron, but they wouldn't be drawn on a definitive answer, giving the 2125mm as a nominal figure only.   In the end I worked backwards from the published reference setup for the Celestron OAG, and put together an image train for my AA294C camera, which in theory should be close to the correct distance.  When I plate solve in APT I get a focal length of between 2087 and 2090mm for the 294C depending on conditions.  Oddly this is 10mm more than the focal length I used to get for my Nikon D7200, which in theory should be too long due to the Nikon camera body's larger back focus (46.5mm v 44mm for Canon).  This is what prompted my query to Celestron...

  4. I managed to grab a couple of hours of data on M101 on 19th April.  I ended up shooting at a much lower gain than I intended due to a mix up in APT settings, but was able to salvage something anyway :)
