This is a good review and just what I needed.
I have just got back into using my scope (a Sky Watcher Explorer 150P) after an summer absence (start work too early to wait for the skies to get dark!!) and the distraction of a baby!! I bought a 12mm Celestron X-cel which I really like earlier in the year. I still have the stock EP's as well but I want to upgrade them.
I have read a lot of technical stuff about the BST, but your review is just what I needed to compare!!

Here is my EP box! Looks a bit simple compared to some on here, although it really just houses the ones I got with my scope. It's a box from staples and cost about a fiver, but it does the job and the picture in the box showed 4 of them holding up a car.......so it must be strong!!!
I pinched the foam from an old recording studio that I was surveying. It had closed down before you ask whether I ruined any sound recordings!!
As I upgrade, I will progress onto one of those nice looking cases
