Did it arrive and have you had chance to try it out ?
It's arrived but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. The weather is looking good for tonight so hopefully I'll be testing it out later this evening.

This is good to know especially as my ZWO ASI462 is due to be delivered between 2.30pm and 3.30pm today.

Think it prefers jpegs?
Great start though if that's your first mars.
Thanks for the tip, hopefully it works now.

Well, the sky was actually clear for a bit last night and I took the opportunity of having my first go at imaging Mars.
Taken through a Celestron C6 SCT with a ZWO ASI 120 mono.
Edit: I'd hoped the picture would be embedded in the post but that doesn't seem to have happened. How do you do that, I've had a search but can't see how you do it.
Edit 2 : added picture as a jpeg.

I needed a long USB 3 cable and bought this 15m cable from Amazon. It's an active cable and needs to be plugged into a power source to work properly. I've not had it long but so far it's working fine. I have it plugged into a powered USB 3 hub.

Edit: Just spotted that it's currently unavailable at Amazon.

If you are interested in the Celestron Skymaster 15 x 70 binoculars they are currently part of a lightning deal for Amazon Prime day for £55.20. You will need to be quick as the deal ends in about 3 hours.

Had my first imaging session with the ZWO ASI462 last night
The viewing conditions weren't very favourable. I struggled to get a clear image of Mars so had a go at what I think was Uranus.
The images were sorted in PIPP, stacked in AutoStakkert and sharpened in GIMP. The colour is as it came out of the camera.
This is the result:
