C8 on VX mount. .67 reducer. (Think I used it) Canon 600. Mega messy processing.

Forrest Tanaka had some good YouTube advice I follow for my setup for the guiding. Well if they are good remains to be seen...

Bit of a mess. Absolute beginner and this after work processing? Need a school for that. Ireland offers rarely clear skies in the first place, then that moon man. Can someone shut it down. Anyway due to the rarity of good conditions (forget perfect) got the starsense which speeds things up. Works well. Found M81 and I got my photo. No 2 on my bucket list of phtos. But of course still not happy. So got a 4" Maksutov and a good starguider. All set up and we're waiting for clear dark skies. One day.

2nd photo night....after I got the starsense. Couldn't see the galaxies with the eyepiece so have to guess. But couldn't get the damn polar alignment good enough for more than 30 sec before stripes. So I got a guider and guide telescope as per 1/7/14 still untested.....
