  3. RIP Patrick Moore . Next time we have a full moon will give u and Neil a nod and a wink with a glass of something nice in me hand.
  4. Been hooked for ages . Those live images were fab. Had to close my eyes when he jumped. That was brilliant.
  5. Sorry to make u cough. But it does make your blood boil. END. OF. Ahhhh calm now.
  6. Don't let this knoob (please remove one O. ). Upset u . U enjoy what u have and at the end of the day it will be his loss. There are plenty of other places to spend your hard earned cash.
  7. last night was a good un , not a clue what I was lookin at but the sky was very clear . Think I need a star map . Most of my views were of the eastern sky , quite light polluted but still plenty to keep me occupied for a couple of hours. Looked at jupiter at about midnight just as it cleared a huge conifer tree. It was an orange dot surrounded by 4 moons , me thinks I need a decent Barlow I thought. LOL. Still it's a start and the first planet I've seen thro me scope (small but nice to see) dark nights await in the next few months . Let's see what's north south and west. CLEARSKIES EVERYONE.
  8. This is a first for me using my new scope, yep the moon is very bright and feels like Ive gone blind when I take my eye away. but I'm gonna keep on lookin LOL. Can anyone explain anything about a BLUEMOON supposed to be one tomorrow? Is there some kind of different look to it? [could be a silly question].Never seen one before.
