My SW 200mm Flextube came supplied with SW Plossls from new, so perhaps Skywatcher does not always provide Super MAs as standard?

My preferred solution to my difficulties observing from inner city Leeds is an impenetrable blackout cloth (c/2' square) over my head and eyepiece, and remembering to close my observing eye if I have to emerge for any reason. Of course this cannot approach the conditions obtainable from a truly dark sky, but it works better for me than any of the other methods I have tried.

Patrick leaves a completely unfillableblack hole. A great loss.

Give them a phone call Tich, they are very helpful.

Hi Tich. Measure the outside diameter of the dovetail on your 1.25" adapter. If it is the same type as my Skywatcher 200 (which it appears to be) you should get a measurement of 57mm. If that is the case I bought the correct 2" item from Rother Valley Optics within the last couple of months. Adapter £25, P&P £4.
Hope this helps
Jim.

To put it another way, the tool can be rotated in the focuser so that the shiny angled surface provides the maximum light available from daylght, or from a fixed light source. For a hand held light source the tool can be rotated to the most convenient position.
