Hi all
I've recently received my seestar and took a 10 min video, put the file into the software that came with the seestar and stacked 60% of the images, the overall image once stacked came out all blurry, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help
I've been in touch with Alex from flo and they say it could be that the batteries been rechargeable might not be enough power for the unit.
if that's the case I no longer want it as I can't afford to keep buying non rechargeable batteries or spend anymore on a 12v power supply at the moment just to see if it is that reason.
Thanks again for all your help everyone, really nice to be here and have all the help on hand

Oh no... just my luck ☹️ I bought it from flo...what's there returning experience like?

I've even tried the manual controls on the app, again up and down work..the others nothing. Does anyone else have this mount that can shed some light on it? I have a feeling it's not supposed to move other than up and down. It really does seem absolutely pointless as a go2
-
No there's no sound ... I don't think this mount is designed to go left and right? Really daft if you ask me, I'll have to return it if that's the case... I can't find any information or videos on YouTube showing this model and it in operation
-
Tried that and it's the same, just won't turn left or right? Does this mount not go anywhere but up and down?
-
Hiya, thanks for the help, I thought this also but I'm staring right at the moon? Yes it's cloudy but I can see it?? Any ideas why the az go2 mount won't turn left or right? Seems a little over the top for something that will only go up and down and you manually point it in the direction of something?

Hi all
Received my scope today and I'm a little disappointed, using the synscan app I'm not able to move the scope left or right, it only goes up and down? Am I doing something wrong? Also on the app only 5 planets come up, no moon ?

Thanks guys, I ordered myself a pack of rechargeable batteries and charger for now and see how we go, I like the look of the Celestron powertank

For 'a few hours' you should be OK using 8x rechargeable AA batteries - I've generally found that Skywatcher are OK with rechargeables (Celestron, err - less so!!)
However, I generally use the 6.1 Ah Celestron Powerpack Lithium LT and it does several sessions with no problem.

Thanks 😊 will this work for the skywatcher too then?

Hi Mozilla - this is what I use for my AZI GTI mount. Not cheaper but does the job well.
Hi thanks for the help, I seen these but still top big for me, I was hoping for something a lot smaller really? Pocket sized?

Thanks all ever so much for the warm welcome and all the great help.
I've now placed a order for the 127
just one quick question, power packs...
I don't want to be carrying around a large battery or anything larger than a mobile phone. Can anyone provide a link to a rechargeable power pack/bank that will work for this az go2 mount for the 127 mak?

Hi all
Would anyone be able to tell me what would be best out the 2 scopes?
I'd like to be able to see planets in detail and the odd bit of deep space.
Im looking at the:
Sky-Watcher SKYMAX-127 (AZ-Go2)
Or
Skywatcher EXPLORER 130PS AZ-GTi
Many thanks
Chris

Hi all
A pleasure to be able to find this forum, some great threads here!
I've just purchased a Sky-Watcher SkyMax 127 AZ-Go2 mak and currently looking for small rechargeable power banks/packs to work with this.
I don't want anything big and heavy, just something to last a good few hours out in the sticks, I just don't know what's available.
Any links would be appreciated
many thanks
Chris
