I updated to the 3.39 and it caused the dec motor to malfunction. I've been through every step of troubleshooting. I want to try rolling back the firmware... if I can just find it. It's the firmware for eq3, eq5, eqm35 3.xx motor controller with the USB port. Thanks in advance.

I did switch cables and connectors and had the same results.

I updated the motor controller firmware to the latest version and updated the wifi dongle as well. The declination axis motor now grinds, but won't move much. The RA motor had the same issue when tested on the dec connection. So, is it software or the controller itself? I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

Issue resolved. I needed to update firmware of wifi dongle.

Tried that, but no luck.

I updated the firmware of my eqm35i  motor controller using wifi. The Synscan Pro app still finds the mount and lists the IP, but it then says "can't connect... communication error." I went through all the steps repeatedly, checked that app was set to network and the ports were correct. I did the hour-long reset for the controller. I even turned off the house wifi. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
