[this post is seeking advice from experienced EQ6r and PHD2 users]
Hi folks,
I'm new to DSO imaging after years of short-exposure imaging.
I recently hypertuned my eq6r by following Astrobloke's YT video, however, my mount went worse....from RMS 0.6 to RMS 0.8-1.3 now.
Not only the guiding went worse, I also failed to implement a PEC adjustment to the mount. I tried to follow a YT video by Astrobloke and Joe on using EQMOD to measure the PEC error, but my curve is far from a sine-wave in any cycle= =
Using tools on PHD2, no DEC backlash is detected, and I don't feel any binding in DEC or RA.
I wonder if I can get any advice on what's the next step to do, before giving up?
Thanks in advance!
PS. I put a pic of my setup (with dolly removed) and the calibration and GA report here for reference. I also uploaded the most recent PHD2 in case needed.
