Last nights (22 Feb) 97% lit Moon. First clear(ish) spell in ages, and even that didn't last long!! Managed a few quick photos of the Moon, trying out something different, a lens with a 1.4x teleconverter. Single frame using a Nikon Z9 and Nikkor Z 180-600mm f6.3 lens with Nikkor Z 1.4x teleconverter, meaning this photo was captured at 840mm. Reasonably happy with it.

Thursday 18th Januarys Moon, first quarter, 55% lit. Close up of the Moons Apennine mountains and a quick grab of Jupiter. Unfortunately, prior to the cloud rolling in, the atmospherics ('seeing') were fairly poor this evening, so not the clearest image of Jupiter or the close in of the Moons mountains, but not bad given the conditions.
Main Moon image taken with Altair Wave 80mm EDT F6 scope and AA GPCAM 178c.
Appeninnes taken with Altair Wave 125mm EDF APO F7.8 and AA GPCAM 178c
Jupiter taken with Celestron Edge HD 9.25 and AA GPCAM 178c.
All captured in Sharpcap, and all processed in Autostakkert and Lightroom.- 3

Looks like you could end up with a good image once all the frames are stacked.

Good comparison, and very little between them.

Thanks @Swoop1 appreciated. Hopefully you'll get another chance to grab the Moon soon - normally it's things like that, that happen to me!!

Good animation, and glad someone was able to get out viewing/imaging yesterday - I had strong winds (up to 40mph) and really poor seeing yesterday.

Good images, more so given the bad conditions of late.
