  3. Thank you tried to download the app to my galaxy tab 3 10.1 tablet while waiting for to arrives today and comes back that the app is not compatible with this devise

If a long f/length is good for planets e.g refractor scope of 3.5-4" a friend said why not use a nikon P1000 camera with a f/length of 3000mm and takes photos in raw format. or a 10" newt or dod as i am thinking of getting the Seestar S50 also heard that the dwarf labs are supporsed to be bringing out a dwarf 3 out next year

  10. just come in after trying to image saturn no luck saw it through the vf and live view took 15" image iso 100 and a black photo. is that a 127 mak have seen them complete with a mount
  11. Just had a board meeting with the SWMBO management and the terms are now get a telescope for planets and get the se50 when it becomes easier to buy due to she wants the garden and kitchen re vamping . so what's the type of scope for planets a dob or newt or a frak .

  13. Hi I have just tonight had a go at sky imaging with my sigma 18-35mm lens settings were iso 100/ s/s 15"/ 3.2 apt bortle 7 sky .used a eos 2000D of the wifes . the last one neighbour's night light came on

  18. The scope comes on a celestron advanced gt mount with a payload of 30 pounds and the scope is 8pounds in weight

  20. Cosmic Geoff this is were i get confused long focal for planets and short for nebula imaging I thought it might be the other way round .

Sorry typo error i meant deep sky nebula imaging. you mentioned a C^6 is this more suitable for me as i hav just seen on an other shop that they have got a second Hand Celestron C6 XLT Advanced GT Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope for £ 749.00 would I have enough money left over to cover all the imaging hardware and cables to keep the BOSS happy or stay with my dslr
  22. Would be easier to take a short video of a planet instead of a load of single frames to keep down the shutter count

I am very grateful for your time and patience answering my questions my back garden is south facing sun all day from 11:30 till it sets over the opposite houses across the tenfoot i have seen Saturn through my Tasco 114/500 Galaxsee when i first got it in the early 90's but thinks happen and it got put away in the garage and forgotten about till a few weeks ago now I have got the urge to do it while I can .
  24. Yes it is an ART series lens my other small lens is a kit lens 28-80 3.55.6 it is an 58mm apt were as the sigma is 72mm apt
