Hi Everyone! Complete noob here, trying to use a really big scope for something that it wasn't designed for, with a camera that has a square sensor I don't like, during the cloudiest few months of Gulf Coast Florida's year where I haven't seen a clear night sky for two months and probably won't for two more.... Off to a great start
It's like being in Telescope College and I can't touch a telescope until I get my degree

I'm feeling you.... I bought my first telescope on May 9. I bought eyepieces, a flip mirror for my Canon, and today I received an ASI533MC-P camera. Nice right? But since that day I have had nothing but South Florida humidity and cloud cover. I haven't had one night where I could find three bright stars to align to. I found that's a thing... and hopefully this (what I think is) hilarious video.may help you feel better.
My first post here right now...
so you have to stick around awhile.

Stacking two f/.63 reducers?

Hi,
Has anyone done this? I was wondering how to figure out what the resulting focal reduction would be, or if it would produce a horrific image for which it's not even worth doing the math....
