  1. Hi Thank you for your message. I have sent the details and pictures to Baader UK hopefully they can shine some light on it. Kind regards Steve Q
  2. Hi Michael, Thank you for your reply. The inside diameter of the "adapter" ring in the second to last photo is 82mm. This I presume would screw onto an OTA with an external 82mm thread. The internal thread of the second part of the adapter shown in fourth from last photo is 60mm. I can't see the purpose of this thread unless its for a filter / flattener of some sort? The end of the drawtube is a fixed 2 inch compression ring with 3 screws. All the literature I can find about Baader focusers say this is removable and can be replaced with either an M48, for screw connection of the optical train or a click-lock. Not this one. Many thanks thanks for your help. Steve
  3. Hi I bought this "Diamond Steeltrack RT" Focuser from a well know auction site as an upgrade for my Sky Watcher ED100 Pro. Due to Covid, again, it has sat in its box until the weekend. When I looked at it closely and compared it with the images on Baaders and other sites it does not seem to match any, or any of the adapters. It has 75mm of focus travel and the dovetail with compression ring is fixed not removable. The Baader logo is on a flat area of the body and neither the grub screws and lock which attach the OTA adapter or the screws on the match pictures. I have tried searching for MK1, early and discontinues models. Hyperion as well as Steeltrack but have come up blank. At this point I don't know what the adapter that is on the body is for - I don't think its for a Sky Watcher OTA as it is threaded and I can't find anything like it on any of the usual suspect websites. I don't even know whether other adapters are available for this body. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
