Thank you for taking the time to help.however I've gutted it and it's no longer serviceable. 

I've looked underneath all of the boards and there aren't any internal fuses and no loose wires.Thank you everyone for your input. I've removed the battery and put the skywatcher in the bin.

The wires aren't long enough to cross over.But thank you for stevie suggesting it.I took this photo after your suggestion just incase that's what I had done 

It was bought from new David, I have a voltage meter however I don't have the knowledge to test it.It just stopped working after I charged my sat nav in the 12v port

Unless you want to start tracing part of the PCB, it is better to ask a simple question.

Does the box do everything it should?
If yes - use it.
If no, look further and keep asking the questions.

I have no idea what is wrong with it.  I replaced the battery checked the fuses and still none of the functions work.The charging light works and the green light is showing as fully charged.so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

None of the functions work.

It seems to be fully charged however none of the functions work. Any ideas as to why would be much appreciated. 

I've tested the 2amp fuse and the 15amp fuse is set to the in position.

Does anyone know where the white wire attaches to?  I bought a new battery and when I opened it up I notice the white wire going to the circuit board and then it wraps several times around the screw support. The other end of the wire is not attached to anything. Cheers guys

Hi guys I've just changed the battery on my skywatcher and although it's indicating it's fully charged it still won't work.I have noticed a white wire which is spooled around the two screw supports nearest end of the battery which is soldered to the circuit board however the other end is not attached to any thing. Does anyone know where this wire is supposed to go. thank you.
