it took me more than 2 mins to write my message so it wasn't there when I started writing
At no point did I ask for my order to be cancelled. all I have asked on many occasions over the last week was "Is this item in stock?"
it was my mistake to say Pulsar were cheaper than you, it is due to them offering an inferior motor kit.
You may want to check your email server as I have not received any email replies

No no-one has yet responded to any of my emails asking if the item was in stock. In addition a previous post stated that "the delivery Arrived later than expected" implying that the delivery had actually arrived! I have had no replies to any emails hence why I am having to resort to posting on here
Well I have just received a full refund despite not requesting one, I'm not sure what on earth is going on!
"Your order id 15244 from 14th January 2011 16:27 has been updated from "Payment Received" to "Order Cancelled" on 21st January 2011 09:54.
Additional Info: Refunded 21st Jan, customer not happy with delay, have suggested he try Pulsar optical"
Frankly I am appalled by how I have been treated by FLO! :mad:

No, we do not have the telescope here. We are waiting on Skywatcher's UK importers who are themselves waiting on a delivery from China. If the telescope were in stock we would have dispatched it. All UK dealers are waiting on the same boat from China. With respect, I am sure we have advised you that it was out of stock and that we would dispatch it as soon as we recieved a delivery.

No, that isn't what I am saying. I estimated delivery based on an ETA from Skywatcher's importers. Their delivery arrived later than expected so I am advising you of the delay. I am also offering you a refund should you decide you would rather shop elsewhere. We understand you are frustrated, we are too, as is everyone else affected by this delay. Please be assured we are doing our very best to fulfil your order.

Are you saying that you now have my items there?
I am a little confused, sorry, if you do have my item there why is there a problem sending it?

Sorry about the delay Steve, we are waiting on Skywatcher's importers who are waiting on a delivery. It is currently looking like you will recieve it Tue/Wed. Have you checked that the other dealer has stock? It takes us only three minutes to arrange a refund.

There must be a mistake, you advised me earlier this week that my order would be sent on Thursday or Friday are you now telling me that the item you had for me has been sent to someone else?

Oh well its a bit late now it wont go until tomorrow at the earliest now which means I wont receive my scope until Monday, after everyones rave reviews I was expecting a quicker service from FLO but I'm stuck now,
I shouldn't have cancelled my order with Pulsar I would have probably had my scope by now D'oh Hindsight is a wonderful thing :-) they were cheaper too!

^ Call them. They're really busy at the moment and if you call them you'll get through to someone who can help you, I'm almost sure of that.

Just wanted to chime in and say how happy I am with my new Opticron 10x50. Been out and had a couple of looks - they're really good.

Well at least someone has their stuff still no sign of my stuff, no replies to pm's or emails yet even ones from last week, I don't even know if my stuff is in stock yet order status stuck at "payment received"

It will be overnight delivery but we don't normally deliver on Saturdays unless requested (there is an additional £15 charge) because we find Saturdays are not as reliable as regular overnight deliveries.

Thanks for the update Steve what service will it be sent on? As if it is going to arrive on a Saturday I will need to supply a different address, the address I gave was a weekday address as I wasn't expecting it to arrive after Friday and have a forecast for some clear skies over the weekend

I recently placed an order with Pulsar optical then read the reviews, when they didnt manage to fulfil my order within the timeframe given I began to get concerned ,I gave them a call and I got a woman that didnt give a damn just told me that the scope was out of stock, when I asked why the website stated in stock and next day delivery available she didnt seem bothered. I phoned the next day to check that the previously promised delivery had arrived and they could ship to me. I got a man this time that -give him his due was apologetic and actually cared especially when I pointed out that the website still stated in stock. By this point I had had enough I had read lots of horror stories about the company and just wanted to cancel my order.
I then on the recommendations of many forums went to FLO I asked a few questions about the scopes and got responses into the night! hats off to you.
However I placed my order on 14/1 and called for an approximate idea of delivery date so I could advise my goods in department when I was expecting a parcel. there was no answer which didnt worry me too much as it was getting near 1700 on friday so I sent an email asking for an approximate delivery date. I still have not received a reply, there is also no change in my order status, no order processing or anything just "payment taken"
Should I be getting worried?

Ant I see your point but I have hearing difficulties so the Phone is not practical for me, this is why I choose Online retailers.
