M13. TAL 100RS 4ins refractor on HEQ5 mount.

Canon 350D EOS at prime focus. 6 subs 45 secs @ 800 ISO. Processed with Deep Sky Stacker and Photo Shop Elements.

I've got the chance of buying a secondhand Atik 16HRC at a fair price. Does anyone know how good or bad this one shot colour CCD is?.

I know many users who speak highly of the 16HR mono. Doesn't the 16HRC have the same chip as the StarlightXpress SXVF H9C?. I seem to remember I've seen some decent images with the H9C

Broadhurst & Clarkson 2 inch brass "comet" eyepiece with 1 1/4" inch RAS thread. Someone's lightly filed the RAS thread down and it fits a normal 1 1/4 inch push fit focuser. Keeping it because who would want a 50 or 60 year old Ramsden EP!.

PS It's still sort of usable but it only has a lousy FOV. I wouldn't have wanted to search for comets with this EP.
