Hi has anyone else had this problem with a newly purchase asi715 camera to used with asiair plus?

Thanks for this. I agree camera works fine when pluggrd into laptop. The problem is that asiair plus has not been modified to recognise the asi715 even though they have started selling.

This  is very poor on Zwo’s behalf.I will pass this on to Widescreen who sold me the camera.

Thanks for your rapid response asiair plus working fine with asi533 camera using same usb3 cable not the one that came with asi715. Odd!

Pls can anyone recommend where to get Az eq6 pro mount serviced? Been in storage for 18 months clutches were seized now free not not holding in Ra. Sticktion too.

i have a pulsar 2.7m dome that I need to automate to keep Astro scope in centre of dome opening during long exposures. Any thoughts as Pulsar kit doesn’t have the software to slave telescope to slot

Managed to get out last night and achieved guiding with the OAG using my Zwo120mm with the edge at f10 2800mm. Thanks for all comments and advice getting focus was the real issue although getting the calibration settings right were also a must . Photo m81 15x300sec subs. Stars look pretty good.

Thanks for your rapid response I have tried a Zwo 178 and 120mm using the celestron OAG but can’t find stars seems to use a bright pixel!!

I have an edge 11 with celestron OAG but cannot get asiair plus to calibrate as cannot find stars. Pls help what camera do I need. I am keen to take subs even at f10 ie 2800mm fl. I have achieved using 250mm  fl guidescope  with 300s subs guiding at 0.4”rms but need to use OAG for space reasons as I am in a dome. Any thoughts most welcome

Thanks for your encouragement I certainly agree that the lx200gps 12inch has been a good friend for  17yrs and I am still learning. Latest was to get better eyepieces . Only been collimated once in 17years by telescope house! How often do you collimate?

Does anyone have experience with this mount? Tentatively thinking of deforking my lx200 gps 12 inch and mounting on this for long focal length AP particularly of galaxies. Set up would be in the observatory.

what everybody says makes sense won’t both wasting time and money on the lx200 for AP. Suspect the lx is a dinosaur. I will stick to my esprit100

I have a 17yr old lx200 12inch with a guider port that I am keen to use with the brand new asiair plus with asi533 camera. The scope is equatorial fork mounted. Any thoughts pls

Sad about the cat hope escaped. Looks a fantastic observatory what will be inside? I have just put up a second pulsar observatory for AP so very keen to hear of similar projects.

Hi does anyone know how to stop water entering pulsar observatory at junction with flat concrete base. Many ideas but has anyone with one that works practically for the long term. I am even researching bespoke guttering but will cost a fortune!?thanks

Thanks it’s an  lx200 gps I will use focal reducer so fl will be 1800mm  off axis guider sounds a must compared with my 250mm guide scope. Thanks for your encouraging comments
