astroenthusiast 279 Posted December 7, 2021 The image of NGC 1499 was captured using a Triad-ultra narrowband filter, and a CMOS color camera with a 6.5” refractor telescope, Sky-Watcher EQ mount, and plate solving for polar alignment. The California Nebula is in the constellation Perseus and is classified as an emission nebula. The image exposure time was 180 minutes, at a temperature of -28 Celsius. 1 Link to comment
