That's a very clean image for such a short exposure.

I also own a D40 and might try to emulate what you've done here when the dark night's return in August.

Thanks Paul, I have been very happy with the D40 so far, I used the in camera dark frame subtraction and Noiseware to clean it up a bit. Can't wait for Andromeda to be high enough to try and shoot.
