NGC281, The Pacman Nebula
I was originally imaging NGC884 but when this was interrupted by an overhead power cable getting in the way, I switched to NGC281. However, with encroaching cloud I switched back to NGC884, so this is the result of very few subs. I processed it just to see what could be got out of such a paucity of data.
Taken 23 Sept 2016 with a Fuji X-T1, 17 x 30s subs at 1600ASA, through an Altair 102mm f/7 Super ED with a TS Photoline 2" 0.79x reducer/flattener. Mounted on a Nexstar 6/8SE Alt-Az mount. RAWs converted to DNG and stacked in DSS, processed in StarTools, and finished in Lightroom.
