Setting circle indicator template. I used a piece of plastic from an arry of storage boxes but anything should do. Score the outlines quite deeply, place in a vice or engineering clamps, so u get a reletivly cleen "snap", dress with emery

Job done. Now this is MkI and because the plastic used is quite brittle + plus the solvent in the varnish did seem to cloud the sides of the groove. There will deffo be a MKII. but I'm pleased with the results as a bit of R&D.

I scribed the drill holes after placing the indicator where I wanted it and trilled and tapped the holes (Drill 2.5 mm tapped 3mm) Where you see the holes, there is plentry of "meat"

casting at rear of clutch. by placing a suitable sized screwdriver or similar. the body will be "locked" to the shaft. Now tap the pier mount, untill it moves freely.

RA dial lock removed and three retaining screws

Dial cover removed. note the top RA bearing (well greased) FYI, at this stage tap off the locking ring, threaded on the shaft (anti clock) then tap the shaft end and it will pop out the back, with the rear bearing on it, if you fancy changing them
