I've been working with my 383L+ deliver Apple OSX support under the AOSX initiative but I've hit a snag.

The ATIK windows drivers perform a Cypress firmware download upon initialisation. This firmware, I assume, has been written by ATIK and therefore probably considered legal property/IPR of ATIK.

Therefore I'd like to ask ATIK's permission to utilise this firmware in supporting the ATIK 383L+ on the Apple Mac under AOSX.

AOSX is quickly gaining speed with EQMount, a form of EQMOD, working and we are looking to release an initial alpha release of the framework soon. I'd like to ensure that we have an imaging solution within that alpha release and I'd like that to be ATIK - considering I own the 16ic, 383L+ and OAG.

Now I hope that ATIK reply favourably!
