Pen Rhiw Ddu - black mountain wales

I notice that Pen Rhiw Ddu in the black mountain is one of the top 10 places in brecon dark Sky park to observe. It is 22 miles and 45 minutes from me. I have taken a drive up there in the day and notice there are several car parks right off the road with plenty of room to set up. My question is ... For those who have tried this area, do many cars pass by at night. My previous favourite spot on Cefn Bryn is great but too many passing headlights.

Anyone had any experiences of Pen Rhiw Ddu?
