Check out this stereo image

One of the people I follow on Astrobin put this up today. Serge Caballero. Its a stereoscopic DSO image of the monkey head. I'm thinking about trying some of these. I have a dual saddle and two bodies I'd have to rent a lens for the weekend. I've done some 3-D video so I have the software as well. I think they look pretty sweet.

Pretty neat but what do you use to look at the images to get the stereo effect?

You use the cross eyed method. Look at the images then try to bring them into focus in the middle. You'll get the hang of it. I found out that this guy came up with the technique used in that photo. Check out his stuff it is fantastic.

Ah, the high-tech approach!  I'll give that a try.
