New Losmandy Alt-Azimuth Mount

I've just spotted this thread on another forum:

Apparently Losmandy are developing a reasonably heavy duty alt-azimuth mount with slow-motion controls (manual ?) on both axis. Max total load seems to be around 40 lbs.

There are some prototype photos further down the above thread and a guide price of $800 including a tripod is mentioned.

The Skywatcher Skytee II has a quoted capacity of up to 33 lbs per side though, and costs a lot less ....
