Recommended Posts

Hello everyone

Could you please tell me the best option to process images?
I am using Theskyx or Nebulosity to control my canon 6D and work with MacOS X.

Pixinsight.

I'm using a 6D too and get very good results

Pixinsight is really a front runner in image processing - fast, efficient and dependable. I use it with a MBP i7 with 16GB of ram and the largest images I've been working with it on are around  2-6GB per image.

It doesn't have some facilities I'd like to see but it is very good. Think of it as applying whole image transformation rather than an art program where you paint etc and this will help you get the hang of it.

It has some very good tools, although you will need to learn how to use them - lots of youtube videos on the web etc.

Lastly - it has a time limited demo, so you can try it first.
