TAL R125 & Autofucusing

Hi everyone - I am new so please be gentle. Has anyone attempted to fit a Skywatcher Auto Focuser to a TAL RS100 or R125 with the clunky old R&P focuser? They look similar to the Skywatcher R&P's but knowing my luck they would be out by microns and result in me wasting valuable beer money on a incompatible unit! As an alternative is anyone aware of a stockist for the new TAL Crayford style focussers in the UK that I could replace the original units with?
