My 8" Dob was delivered on Saturday and with clear skies on Monday night I got decent views of a few target objects. Unfortunately, due to the snow I was limited ot my back garden so all planets were unobservable. I got good views of the Moon, a couple of stars in Orion and a few other bits and pieces (was too tired after the Super Bowl the nigth before).

I think I made the right call with the 8" choice, and so far no regrets.
